Our Commitment to Your Privacy

At BoostCrow, we take privacy and security very seriously. We believe your personal information belongs to you — not to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

The short version: We only collect information that is necessary to provide our services. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Period.

Who We Are

BoostCrow is a web design and digital services company that builds professional websites for small businesses. Our services include custom website design, domain registration, hosting, business email, local SEO, and digital presence management.

Domain registration services are provided through HostCrow.com, a sister company of BoostCrow that handles domain management on behalf of our clients.

Information We Collect

We only collect information that is directly necessary to deliver our services to you. We do not collect unnecessary personal information, and we do not track your browsing activity across other websites.

Information You Provide

When you request a demo, sign up for a plan, or contact us, you may provide:

• Contact information — Your name, email address, phone number, and business name. Used to communicate with you about your project and account.
• Business information — Your business name, industry, address, and service descriptions. Used to build and customize your website.
• Payment information — Billing details necessary to process your monthly subscription. Payments are processed by Square, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
• Chat messages — If you use the chat assistant on our site, your messages are processed by our own chat service running on Cloudflare, which uses Cloudflare Workers AI to write replies. Email addresses and phone numbers are removed from your messages before the AI sees them. Only the summary shown to you ("What we'll send") reaches us; the conversation itself is deleted once that summary is sent, or when a chat ends without contact details.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we may collect minimal technical information including:

• Log data — IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Used only for security monitoring, such as blocking abuse.
• Where you found us — Links in our ads and listings may add a short label such as "google-ads" or "yelp". Your browser keeps it for that tab only and sends it with your demo request, so we know which listing works. It is never a click ID, and no ad network scripts run on our site.
• Cookies — We use only essential cookies required for the website to function properly (such as session management). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Providing our services — Building, hosting, and maintaining your website and related digital services.
• Communication — Responding to your inquiries, sending project updates, and providing customer support.
• Account management — Processing payments and managing your subscription.
• Domain registration — Registering and managing your domain name through HostCrow.com.
• Security — Protecting our systems and your data from unauthorized access or abuse.

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the services you've requested.

What We Do NOT Do

To be completely clear:

• ❌ We do not sell your data. Your personal information is never sold, rented, or traded to any third party.
• ❌ We do not share your data for marketing. We will never give your information to other companies for their promotional purposes.
• ❌ We do not track you across the internet. We don't use advertising pixels, retargeting scripts, or cross-site tracking technologies.
• ❌ We do not collect more than we need. If we don't need it to provide your service, we don't ask for it.

Online Booking on Our Clients' Websites

Some of our clients use our Online Booking feature. When you book an appointment on one of their websites:

• Your name, email address and any answers you give are stored in that business's own booking system, which runs separately from every other business.
• They are used to confirm your appointment, send you reminders and let you reschedule or cancel. The business sees your booking.
• Your details are removed automatically after a set period (90 days after the appointment by default).
• The booking page has no ad trackers, and your details are never sold or shared for marketing.

The business you booked with decides how it uses your booking. For questions about a booking, contact that business, or email us at hello@boostcrow.com.

Third-Party Services

To deliver our services, we work with trusted third-party providers. These providers only receive the minimum information necessary to perform their function:

• Cloudflare — Website hosting, content delivery, and security (DDoS protection, SSL certificates).
• HostCrow.com — Domain registration and DNS management (a sister company of BoostCrow).
• Square — Secure, PCI-compliant processing of subscription payments.
• Cloudflare Workers AI — Writes the chat assistant's replies. It never receives your email address or phone number.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — Bot protection on our forms (privacy-focused alternative to reCAPTCHA — no tracking cookies).

We carefully select providers who share our commitment to privacy and security. We do not integrate with any advertising or data brokerage services.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• SSL/TLS encryption on all pages and data transmissions.
• Secure, encrypted storage for sensitive account information.
• Monitoring of our systems for abuse and errors.
• Access controls to limit who can view your information internally.
• Cloudflare's enterprise-grade infrastructure for hosting and DDoS protection.

Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as it is needed to provide our services and fulfill our legal obligations. If you cancel your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, unless we are required by law to retain certain records. Website content and files will be removed from our servers upon account cancellation, unless you request a backup.

Messages sent through our contact form are kept for 180 days, then deleted automatically.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — Ask us to update or correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion — Request that we delete your personal information (subject to legal obligations).
• Portability — Request your data in a standard, machine-readable format.
• Opt out — Unsubscribe from any non-essential communications at any time.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business owners and are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
